Why patients choose us

Advanced Technology. Honest Guidance.

Our endoscopic and microscopic procedures use modern surgical technology, and every recommendation starts with a clear explanation of benefits and risks.

1

Advanced Endoscopic & Microscopic Technology

Full-HD endoscopic towers, high-definition operating microscopes and real-time fluoroscopy give the surgeon a clear, magnified view of the disc and nerve. We also add other modern treatment approaches to this technology, matched to your diagnosis.

2

1,000+ Cases Treated

More than a thousand patients have been treated. Minimally invasive techniques generally mean smaller incisions and less muscle disruption. Complication risks are explained openly at your consultation.

3

Precise Diagnosis, Conservative First

We try non-surgical options before recommending any procedure. When surgery is needed, it is matched to your diagnosis, not a generic approach.

What to Expect

When Surgery Is Considered

  • Leg or arm pain worse than back or neck pain, not improving after 6-12 weeks of physiotherapy
  • Progressive neurological deficit: worsening foot drop, hand weakness or altered sensation
  • Cauda equina symptoms: bladder or bowel changes need emergency evaluation
  • Quality of life severely affected despite adequate non-surgical treatment
  • Imaging confirms nerve compression at the level matching your symptoms

When Non-Surgical Care Comes First

  • Back or neck pain without significant nerve symptoms
  • Disc bulge or mild herniation with bearable symptoms that are improving
  • Degenerative disc disease without nerve compression
  • Symptoms present for less than 4-6 weeks with no neurological deficit
  • Look-alike diagnoses such as piriformis syndrome or SIJ pain

FAQs

Common Questions

Is endoscopic discectomy better than microscopic?

Neither is universally better. They are complementary techniques suited to different situations. Endoscopic surgery uses a tiny 8 mm port, causes minimal muscle disruption and allows same-day discharge, but has a higher learning curve and suits specific herniation patterns. Microscopic surgery gives a wider field of view, is better for complex anatomy or large herniations, and has decades of outcome data. Your surgeon will recommend the technique that is safest and most effective for you.

Will my disc herniation come back after surgery?

Recurrent herniation at the same level occurs in roughly 5-10% of cases over 10 years. Maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding heavy lifting with a bent and twisted spine, and continuing core strengthening exercises reduce the risk. If it does recur, revision surgery is possible, though technically more challenging because of scar tissue.

Do I need a general anaesthetic for endoscopic surgery?

Many endoscopic procedures can be done under local anaesthesia with conscious sedation, which is useful for patients with higher anaesthetic risk. The choice depends on the approach, your medical history and your preference. Discuss the options with your surgeon at consultation.

My MRI shows a "bulging disc". Do I need surgery?

Very often not. MRI frequently shows disc bulges in people with no symptoms at all. A bulge, where the outer annulus is intact, is very different from a herniation, where disc material has pushed through. Surgery is considered only when a structural compression matches your symptoms and has not responded to non-surgical care, never on the scan alone.

How do I know if my symptoms are an emergency?

Go to a hospital emergency department immediately if you develop new difficulty passing urine or loss of bladder or bowel control; numbness in the inner thighs or groin (saddle anaesthesia); rapidly progressing weakness in both legs; or severe pain after a fall or trauma. These can indicate cauda equina syndrome, which needs emergency treatment to prevent permanent damage.

How long will I be in hospital?

Most endoscopic discectomy patients go home the same day or after one night. Microscopic discectomy usually means 1-2 nights. More complex procedures such as multi-level decompression or ACDF typically need 1-2 nights. Your surgeon will give you an exact expectation at the pre-operative consultation.

Can I travel from outside Delhi for treatment?

Yes. We are in Sector-41, Gurgaon, about 20 minutes from IGI Airport and easily reached from Delhi, Noida, Faridabad and Greater Noida. Out-of-city patients can often be assessed and scanned within 2-3 days of arrival. Please WhatsApp or email your scans in advance so we can review them before your visit.

When to Seek Emergency Care

Call us immediately or go to the nearest emergency room if you experience:

  • Loss of bladder or bowel control
  • Saddle anaesthesia: numbness in the inner thighs, perineum or genital area
  • Rapidly worsening weakness in both legs
  • Severe back or neck pain after a fall or road accident

These may indicate cauda equina syndrome, a surgical emergency. Do not wait for a routine appointment.
